Pain
Published on May 30, 2004 By Ashlee Ryder In Blogging
What could be worse than losing someone you love? Losing someone you love to an uncontrollable disease. I have so much anger inside of me right now, I can't even imagine if this person that i love was actually my family. She is the grandmother to my friend, she taught me my abc's and we have many cherished moments together, and now, she only has a few days left.. a few days to let this old world go, to go home... i will miss her, and the sadness just keeps rolling in.. and the pain, just keeps rolling in..

I'm not so cheerful today, not so cheerful at all..

Hi ashlee, that sounds terrible, and I really wish that your friend's grandmother makes it through, let me know what happens ok? Sounds silly, but try cheer up! I'm sure it'll be ok, i know this girl who lost both her grandfather and her great grandma on christmas eve and christmas day, and she's fine now, though obviously it hurt at the time and this is irrelevent to you-sorry. I wish you well

I'd go with lots of hugs at a time like this... definitely lots of hugs...

Sorry to hear it. Life is full of things we simply can't begin to rationalize and sometimes it makes it worse when we do. Thoughts are with you and I hope you were able to say thanks and goodbye. Peace.

I'm really sorry Ashlee. I have also lost people I cared about. It is a difficult thing to bear. Always seems like such a waste.

Hang in there. Enjoy what time you have left with this person. Let them know how much you care. I'm sure they'll appreciate it more than you could know.
